June 21

Good Tuesday morning :)

Hello hello, we arrived in Coalville. UT around 4:00 and the view from our campsite is beautiful as you will see in the pictures.  We are camped along the Weber River.

First though we want to share some scenery pictures with you as we travelled out of Nevada and into Utah.   We drove along straight stretches of highway, through mountain ranges and saw interesting things along the way.  We drove through Bonneville, Utah and saw the salt flats.  Acres of white with mirages of water next to the flats of salt.  We used the compass app to show what city we were in along with the elevation as we reached three different summits and different cities.

The first summit we reached is called Golconda Summit with an elevation of 5159'.  The second summit is Pequop Summit at 6967'.  We drove through Battle Mountain, Elko and Wells, NV.

In Salt Lake City, Utah we reached the Parley's Summit at 6940'.  We drove through Park City(where the 2002 Winter Olympics were held), Grantsville, Magna, and more.

One interesting thing we have noticed outside of California is three semi tractor trailers being pulled.  These are called Longer Combination Vehicles.

Hope you enjoy the pictures as much as we enjoyed the drive.
