June 24 Ogallala, Nebraska to Shelby, Iowa
Another day in the books, literally, as we keep a log of all the campsites we stay in. We started this book before we left on this trip.
Again, the photos are out of order and I will continue to work on putting the photos in order of our drive. Regardless of this, the photos are beautiful. The countryside is vast, green, lush, open and beautiful. So many corn fields, bodies of water, industrial parks, homes that are just placed here and there along the freeway. We are soaking up the U.S. of A.
When we arrived in Iowa this afternoon the temperature was 82 and the humidity was 70. Not as humid as Ogallala. It is now raining in Ogallala.
We found a Jimmy John's in Iowa and Scott was so happy.
