July 7, 2022 Sevierville, TN

Yes I have skipped about ten days.  I will post those missing days for sure.  We had a lot of fun in Ohio.  We arrived in Sevierville yesterday and are in a fabulous campground.  Buddy Bear  RV Park in the Smokie mountains.  We have a pull through site will full hook ups, there is a brand new pool, kayaking and tubing on the Little Pigeon River, paved streets with lighting.

Today we had planned on going to Dollywood.  We woke up to pouring rain with more rain to come.  We decided to go anyway as we had already bought tickets.  What's rain when it is 90 degrees outside.  We had a great time!  Such a fabulous park, fifteen minutes from the campground, easy parking, tram to the park and no crowds!!!  I can't even say we had to wait in any lines because they moved right on through.

Abigail, our granddaughter, is now travelling with us.  Her two favorite rides were Daredevil Falls and the Dragonflier rollercoaster.  We all would recommend this park :)

                        disappoint.  A loaf comes with frosting but none is needed.  DELICIOUS!!

                    This is a great ride!  One of those rides where your feet dangle as you are
                                                 going around on the roller coaster.  Very fun.

 A day late for sure....where does the time go.  Once you reach your grandchild that is where my attention goes. Yesterday was a great day.  Peoria is a beautiful city and we will definitely go back to Millpoint RV and campground to stay longer than a day.  Driving through Illinois into Ohio was beautiful.  So many water towers, crop silos, rivers, an archway, family, glow bugs and some unknown bug that bit my legs..... We stopped in Indianapolis, Indiana to visit with my Aunt Judy, cousins: Tami and Tracy, Tami's son: Kevin and grandson Leo.  So wonderful to see them all.  Family is a blessing. June 20 - first day of our journey

Hello, we left bright and early this morning from Bethel Island, CA and drove 7 hours and 11 minutes to land in Winnemucca, NV.  We are staying at the Model T Casino & RV Park.  The RV park is your basic cement parking lot with complete hooks ups which is a bonus.  We ate dinner at the restaurant in the casino and the food was delicious. The scenery on the way here was mountainous.  I have attached some pictures of us,  the drive up, our set up and the Model T Casino. July 9, 2022 Sevierville TN to Antioch TN

The three of us left our beautiful campsite behind to head to our next destination of Antioch, TN and Four Corners RV Resort. The drive was so beautiful.  I feel like I keep repeating myself.  Let me tell y'all how pretty our country is.  Some of the cities we drove through were Knoxville, Kingston, Fairfield and Gordonsville. Again we saw water towers, factory towers, rivers and endless lush, green beautiful countryside. When we arrived at our camp, Abby rode her bike while we set up the trailer.  When we were done she and I rode bikes around the campground for a bit.   We were attending the Grand Ole Opry concert tonight and eating at Paula Deen's Family Kitchen.  PD's is a must for lunch or dinner when you are in Nashville.  The restaurant has only been open since October 2020.  The meals are served family style.  We chose Southern Fried Chicken, Chicken and Dumplings, creamed potatoes, creamed corn, tomato and cucumber salad and cole slaw with banana pudding for dessert
